Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American actress, singer, writer and director. Most well-known is her being the character Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who is an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson was a part of Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's end. Behind the camera, she used her writing abilities in the Ghosts of Albion series and produced projects such as The Killing Jar in 2010 and Drones. Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist across the globe with 500 who are members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers are active once their abilities are mature enough.
