Torrie was among wrestling's top athletes. Wilson made waves in the fields of potatoes wheat, and the corn Boise, Idaho is known for. An emerging fitness model at the end of the 1990s, Wilson's first foray into entertainment in the sports world came out of an uninvolved visit to WCW along with her boyfriend at the time. Then, she joined Scott Steiner in the ring and continued working for over a decade. While competing occasionally with WCW, Wilson was also managing competitors such as David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson joined WWE following the spring 2001 acquisition of WCW. Wilson's athleticism helped make her the perfect match to join WWE during one of the sports and entertainment's most thrilling eras. Wilson's friendship with her pal (and sometimes adversary) Stacy Keibler was an integral part of WWE's takeover of WWE. After the invasion was put off, Wilson became a key female wrestler in WWE's women's division and was involved in unforgettable rivalries against the likes Keibler, Sable and Melina. And even Dawn Marie, who was the ferocious enemy of her family, needed to be fought against.
