Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer first started her acting career when she was as a teenager. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. While she was a kid, Wuhrer sang at nightclubs and slipped out to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American singer, model and actor. She began her acting career at the Wooster School at the age of thirteen years old. She is born a Brookfield native born in Brookfield Connecticut, on the 28th day of April, 1967. Her mother is a payroll accountant, and her father is German-American and is a police officer as well as a auto salesperson. Kari's three siblings are all of them. When she was in her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself when she would sneak away and take a break. Kari began acting at the Wooster school aged 13 before going into drama school at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari stepped into acting as a teenager, and her first television break was in 1987 on MTV's Remote Control.
